When I asked what he planned to use the funds for, he replied that he was taking gains to invest in a new photovoltaic system for his house.

At least he might be able to mine some Bitcoin with the excess solar energy in the future, but given that the bull run just started, he'll probably never get back the amount of Bitcoin he sold.

It's sad to see a fellow Bitcoiner fail to understand the long-term strategy. #HODL

Mainstream media and comments I got from colleges seems to refer to the latest bull run to Trump's victory only, putting Bitcoin in the same bucket than stocks.

They have no idea, what will happen!

]]> A friend I orange pilled a couple of years ago told me yesterday that he happily sold all his Bitcoin. When I asked what he planned to use the funds for, he replied that he was taking gains to invest in a new photovoltaic system for his house.
