Hosp is a controversial individual. Unfortunately, in Germany he seems to be popular as Crypto or even Bitcoin expert for some mainstream media.
Although, it looks like his current defi scam is dying, he seems to prepare something with Ordinals on Bitcoin as a next scam.
A long but good explanation why a Bitcoin code change is not enough:
"Imagine somebody would believe it’s a great idea to adjust the size of the [chess] board on which the game is played. He imagines it would be better to play it on a board twice the size, however instead of creating a new variant of chess; his goal is to make every chess player adopt his new playboard. It would be easy enough to convince some of his friends and then play together with them, but convincing the entire chess player base would be a practically impossible task."
