Recently, I sold my old Nintendo Gameboy including the original packaging on eBay and someone in Italy made the final bid in the very last second only 1€ higher despite lots of followers in the auction - seems like unfair, but apparently this is supposed to be a sniper style on eBay.
Well l, I was still happy to stack more #Bitcoin for 101€ and 7€ for the sending 🤙

Next, I bought the post service fee directly in the eBay app for 10,49€ slightly higher what I got from the buyer, but hey I still felt lucky and must admit a straight forward integration of the sending and payment process out-of-box in the eBay app 📬 💸

After sending the item and waiting on eBay to release the payment, I got a another eBay message a couple of days later:
Buyer said did not receive the item! 🖕

Turns out, with the shipping method eBay recommended me there is no international package tracking, so I can't prove that the item arrived...

End of the story, invested time, payed for shipping, payed for the eBay transaction and the refund, but most important suffered personally of being rugged as I was so naive to trust but not verify 🫂

I learned the lesson, the hard way 😭
